A 50 m2 apartment in a charming 150 year old building. The studio has antique furniture and all modern amenities needed with a location in a quiet side street.

 This apartment is a touch of ”old Catalan style” in young, hip El Raval. The apartment is located in a quiet side street of one of Barcelona’s most vibrant areas. The accommodation has an interior design based on Catalan tradition but with a modern ”twist”. The kitchen is fully equipped with vitro-ceramic cooker, oven, fridge, etc, and the dining area has a mahogany dining table with seating for four people.

The bedroom has an antique, queen-size bed and plenty of wardrobe space. There is also a small balcony here, to use as an ”observation post” for studies of life in the Barcelona Old City. Furthermore, there is a double sofa-bed in the living-room. Thus, one or two couples or a small family could lodge here quite comfortably.

The bathroom is recently constructed and up to the standards of today’s traveller. There are warm colours throughout and floors with a stylish wood parquet.

Basically the whole of Ciutat Vella - The Barcelona Old City is within walking distance from the studio. El Raval is, furthermore, an area with a fair share of things to do and see. There is the Joaquin Costa street with a row of bars, vintage shopping opportunities and the Rambla del Raval with its variety of restaurants. For art buffs there is the MACBA - the contemporary art museum, the Drassanes Maritime Museum, CCCB cultural centre and the Liceu Opera for music lovers. Palau Guell - one of Gaudí’s earlier buildings is of interests to fans of eccentric architecture, just off the famous Las Ramblas (like the opera). Several of the city’s best nightclubs and most interesting bars are located here as well.

If you are coming by car we let you know there are several parking spacesnearby. There is a parking close to the apartment (5 minutes on foot, 360 m.) which has a price of +/- 57 euros for 3 nights, +/- 85 euros for 5 nights and +/- 102 euros for 7 nights. It's a good price because it's not easy to park in the street in Barcelona city center and parkings have an average price +/- 25-40 euros per day.
