The historic centre of Barcelona is the city’s most diverse area. Here the old meets the modern. You'll be in the right place to learn of the Catalan capital’s life as if you were a local.
Its narrow streets are ideal to stray around and learn of its old stories. If you love architecture, delight yourself with the Gothic buildings that characterize the capital city. One of the most important constructions to see is the church of Santa María del Mar.
Walk by the Via Laietana, the artery road that links the city’s centre with the sea. Along it you will see modernist, neo-gothic and historical buildings. From there you may access the Argenteria Street and start one of the visitors’ favourite tours. In old times the area was inhabited by the Jews people who lived there and worked in the silver industry. Today, you will find there ‘tapas’ fixing taverns, restaurants, and quaint shops with original proposals.
The tour ends at the Passeig del Born, considered the best place in town to go and watch the sunset. Various bars of all styles are at the walk and offer a lively night. Don’t miss anything while you’re with us.
