The neighborhood of Sants has an air of village, with very good communications and very commercial. Carrer de Sants is the longest shopping street in Europe. It is a good neighborhood for families with children, although it is attractive for all kinds of people.
The apartment is located just next to the very eccentric Parc de l‘Espanya Industrial. The park is paying homage to the areas industrial past in a way that some find inspiring and others just plain ugly! The Parc Joan Miró is in the same area - a different example of turning a former industrial site into a park. Within strolling distance you will find The Plaça Espanya from which you can attend commercial fairs at the Fira de Barcelona and visit great cultural institutions like the Museu Nacional.
Located between the main transportation hubs Sants Train Station and the Plaça Espanya moving in, out and around Barcelona could hardly be easier.
